Abstract

En España el periodismo de investigación imprime gran energía y persistencia en la lucha contra la corrupción, así la prensa cumple un papel importante como incentivo a las reformas y la modernización. Su conducta provoca las reacciones del Estado que intenta legislar la mordaza codificando el delito de difamación en formas cuestionadas por juristas de todas las orientaciones políticas. El contrapoder está amenazado y los periodistas se unen en su defensa.
