Abstract

El ensayo literario es un género utópico y escéptico por excelencia, que usa una prosa expositiva, usualmente informativa o didáctica de carácter breve e ideológico que anticipa verdades cuya formulación rigurosamente científica no es posible, de momento. Comenta un tema sin la extensión ni profundidad de un Tratado o Manual. En Iberoamérica sirvió para expresar lo más valioso del pensamiento y los reconocidos planteamientos ideológicos. En detalle señala las características del ensayo, el lenguaje que utiliza y el perfil del ensayista.
