Abstract

El presente artículo analiza las columnas editoriales del diario La Nación Argentina durante los primeros quince meses de circulación (septiembre de 1862- noviembre de 1863) respecto de la sanción de la Ley de Compromiso, que autorizaba a las autoridades nacionales a residir en la ciudad de Buenos Aires por cinco años, donde a la vez se encontraba el asiento del gobierno provincial; la conformación de la primera Corte Suprema de la Nación; y el alzamiento y posterior asesinato de Vicente Peñaloza, por el incipiente ejército argentino.
