Abstract

La telenovela ha evolucionado hasta llegar a convertirse en uno de los fenómenos culturales más estudiados. Pese a que la telenovela es uno de los géneros más vilipendiados, difamados y menospreciados por la crítica de la televisión, al menos los temas como el de la Infancia, reivindican a la telenovela como instrumento de formación social. Los escritores más importantes de este género en América Latina, evalúan su experiencia con los nuevos contenidos, dos años después de la cita promovida por UNICEF en Río de Janeiro. Relata lo que ha sido la cita con los creadores (1991) y otras experiencias.
