Abstract

El analfabetismo mata junto con la pobreza están implicados en un fenómeno complejo, en una relación dialéctica, en la cual el uno es a la vez causa y consecuencia del otro. Además es sorprendente lo poco que se usan los medios de comunicación en las campañas de alfabetización.Se citan varios casos como el de Tanzania, Kenia, Zimbabwe, Brasil. Refiere el Programa de Alfabetización comunitaria, concebido por el autor del libro "Pedagogía del oprimido"", donde expone su teoría de educación para la liberación - Paulo Freire- (Sao Paulo- Brasil)Comenta sobre la importancia de los medios de comunicación masiva en las actividades de orden cultural."
