Abstract

Este ensayo analiza los mecanismos de mediación del Consejo de la Radiodifusión y de las telecomunicaciones canadienses (CRTC) en el contexto actual de deserción del espacio público y de autorreglamentación del mercado. Su propósito es destacar la significación y los límites de esta mediación, así como proponer algunos elementos de comunicación participativa para dar protagonismo al público. Este análisis tomó como ejemplo el debate sobre el control de la violencia en la televisión.
