Abstract

Las dificultades impuestas por el sistema transnacional de la información al proceso nicaragüense de reconstrucción, fue el tema central que congregó a más de 150 periodistas y delgados de organizaciones de todo el mundo que se dieron cita en Managua. Los participantes del encuentro convinieron en realizar diversas actividades en el mundo, para romper el bloqueo informativo. En tal sentido se solicitó a la OIP que otorgue en su boletín prioridad a la información fidedigna proveniente de Nicaragua. A propuestas de la FELAP se sugirió también la creación de un Centro de Información especial para América Latina y el Caribe, cuya gestión estará a cargo de entidades de México, Venezuela y Ecuador.
