Abstract

Un episodio ecológico en Ecuador provoca una crisis económica y social. Cunden lamentos, represalias y desinformación, ¿Un fracaso de la comunicación ambientalista? ¿Cómo integrar las comunicaciones a la protección ecológica? El artículo hace una severa crítica a INECEL, que se vio en problemas al presentarse el episodio en el país. Aspira que esta vivencia sirva de ejemplo de la complejidad del rol de la comunicación en la problemática ambiental.
