Abstract

El periodismo con o sin dictaduras, sigue siendo una de las profesiones más peligrosas del continente. Los asesinatos y las agresiones documentadas son solo un indicador de lo que los periodistas apuestan y con frecuencia pierden por ejercer el siempre cuestionado derecho a informar. Menciona el caso la represión oficial de Haití, la represión paragubernamental y privada en América Central, El Comité para la Protección de los periodistas, la Guerra contra el Periodismo, Libertad de prensa y democracia: El Salvador y Argentina, Ataques a la prensa: un fenómeno internacional.
