Refiere al tratamiento que dan los medios noticiosos, los problemas y distorsiones, acerca de las mujeres y la violencia de género, incluidos la violencia machista y los crímenes de odio machista. Enfatiza en que la industria noticiosa está determinada por dinámicas económicas y culturales de orden estructural, pero también por el origen y la calidad de su “materia prima” y su “clientela”. Describe la rutina de las redacciones de los medios noticiosos industriales.
