Abstract

La autora se refiere al libro de Mattelart "América Latina en la encrucijada telemática"" (1983) que se anticipó al porvenir complejo cuyos indicios se encontraban desperdigados por todo el continente sin haber sido interpelados desde una necesaria correspondencia. A pesar del tiempo transcurrido, (27 años) mantiene una actualidad que asombra por cuanto analiza el cambio tecnológico y el impacto de la introducción de nuevas tecnologías, prefigurando los movimientos de concentración y convergencia y su estrecho lazo con los procesos económicos y políticos que han tenido lugar durante estas casi tres décadas"
