Abstract

Literatura y periodismo son ramas de una misma raíz pero, asimismo, disímiles. Mientras es inconcebible una obra literaria sin el concurso de la imaginación, esta no es propia de la labor periodística, y con frecuencia, más que superflua, nociva.El autor da cuenta de los grandes de la historia, de los ejemplos de nuestro tiempo, del periodismo romántico cuyos exponentes son Martí de Cuba y Espejo de Ecuador más todos los que hicieron de el un arma contra la injusticia y el despotismo.
