Abstract

Desde hace más de veinte años en varios países de América Latina, se viene trabajando silenciosamente y sin apoyo gubernamental la Alfabetización de las imágenes. Este movimiento busca desmitificar el mundo iconográfico para incorporar sus códigos al lenguaje del televidente. La autora describe el trabajo que en este campo ha desarrollado CEFOCINE en el Ecuador.
