Este artículo propone una lectura del acto de aislamiento voluntario de los tagaeri a partir de la reflexión de Antonio Negri sobre el “monstruo político”. Este grupo indígena que habita la Amazonía ecuatoriana pertenece inicialmente a la nacionalidad waorani, pero marcó una separación de ésta a inicios de los setenta, en el marco de un proceso de “asimilación” del pueblo waorani a la cultura mestiza occidental.Downloads
