Abstract

El año 1972, siendo director general de CIESPAL, el Dr. Gonzalo Córdova Galarza y director técnico, Marco Ordóñez, sería testigo de la publicación del primer número de la Revista Latinoamericana de Comunicación CHASQUI. Desde sus inicios, se publicó gracias a un convenio que CIESPAL mantuvo con la Fundación Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung de Alemania, lo que le permitió contar con una fuente de financiamiento que se mantuvo hasta entrados los años 2.000.
