Abstract

Hace referencia al desplazamiento de la política al campo de la comunicación, hecho que ha configurado un escenario concentradamente mediatizado para las disputas electorales. Prima el manejo de la imagen del candidato y el show, por sobre el mensaje político y la exposición de propuestas. Describe y analiza lo que fue la contienda electoral polarizada entre Rafael Correa y Álvaro Noboa, el gasto electoral y el uso del ciberespacio.
