Abstract

Desde su visión el autor hace un recuento de las gestiones gubernamentales una vez que el país inició la etapa pos Pinochetista. Señal que solo son dos los grupos que controlan casi el 80 por ciento de la propiedad de los medios de comunicación en Chile. Afirma que la negativa de los gobiernos de la Concertación, para desarrollar una política comunicacional que favorezca la libertad de expresión y el derecho a la información ha tenido como consecuencia el cierre de numerosos medios de comunicación, atentando contra el pluralismo y la calidad de la democracia.
