Abstract

Se reflexiona sobre la función de las universidades en la formación de la ciudadanía. Se analizan algunas alternativas que se han aplicado y la experiencia de la Universidad Católica de Guayaquil en el campo de la animación cultural (1998) la finalidad académica es crear condiciones y la oportunidad para que los jóvenes realicen un ejercicio de ciudadanía haciendo de la práctica estudiantil una verdadera práxis.
