El pensamiento latinoamericano en comunicación ha sido producto de una reflexión colectiva, generada por la diáspora intelectual resultante del autoritarismo continental como estertor de la "guerra fría"", es evidente el liderazgo ejercido por algunos de ellos, resultando en proyección en el escenario internacional. Este artículo señala los paradigmas mundiales de la Escuela Latinoamericana de Comunicación en los años 60, 70, 80 y 90."
