“ASIAVISION”: un novedoso sistema regional para el intercambio de noticias en la televisión

El 16 de enero de 1984 se inició, con las primeras transmisiones de ASIA VISION, un servicio televisivo de gran trascendencia para este continente. Comenzó así a operar por primera vez en el Tercer Mundo un sistema de intercambio de noticias, preparadas ya no como en el caso de VISNEWS o CBSNews por grandes agencias occidentales o con su sede en Europa- el caso de SIN que opera desde Madrid- sino elaborados por los propios países de la región y coordinadas en algunas de sus propias capitales. De esta manera los grandes públicos asiáticos se informan hoy de importantes eventos y sucesos en la región ya no exclusivamente a través de la óptica de las agencias internacionales, sino a través de como ellos mismos ven, evaluen y enfocan las cosas.
