This article focuses on the relationship between traditional and citizen journalisms, represented by ‘Jornal Nacional’, from ‘TV Globo’, and ‘Mídia NINJA’, which means Independent Narratives, Journalism and Action (in portuguese). The period of analysis coincided with ‘June days’ of 2013, demonstrations of social and political content that happened in Brazil. By doing a descriptive content analysis of the coverings, we focused on the happenings of Rio de Janeiro during FIFA Confederations Cup, from June 15th and 30th. We observed both coverings personified the city by mean of the protesters, giving an identity to the events.References
