Podemos and the recent global social movements in Spain: hypothesis for a research proposal from practice

Movements named in this article as “recent global social movements” (RGSM) are the symptom of the burnout of the liberal democracy institutions, the political system and the transition culture from dictatorship to democracy. Those which became part of these movements paved the way for new movements and political organizations that have benefited of its achievements. Podemos is a significant case. As a part of a research project about the impact of those RSGM in public awareness of democracy and human rights, this article charts some hypotheses about what entails Podemos for a research in politics linked to social movements emerged in 2011.References
