Abstract

Aproximadamente dos tercias de la población mundial vive en los paises lla­mados en vias de desarrollo, y del 50 al 80 por ciento vive en aldeas rurales. La inmensa mayoria de esta población trabaja como pequeños agricultores y perciben un ingreso muy bajo, generalmente muy por debajo del ingreso nacional percapita de cien a doscientos dolares al año."
