Abstract

El llamado "problema indígena"" es visto, dentro del Instituto de Investigación e Integración Social del Estado de Oaxaca (IIISEO), como el conflicto de las relaciones desequilibradas y subordinadas entre dos grupos culturalmente distintos: los mestizos y los indígenas, integrados ambos en una sola estructura social. La función del IIISEO es básicamente educativa y de investigación alrededor de la integración, fenómeno que supone el establecimiento de las relaciones armónicas y equilibradas de los indígenas con la población nacional
