Abstract

Como en el resto de América Latina, los medios de comunicación mexicanos se han limitado a realizar un tipo de periodismo que ha excluido a las mujeres. A pesar de esa realidad el CIMAC (Comunicación e Información de la Mujer), ha trabajado con los(as) profesionales desde una perspectiva de género conformando una asociación civil "Comunicación e Información"" donde las periodistas mujeres trabajan en Red asumiendo una tarea colectiva para desde los medios contribuir a ese reconocimiento y valoración de la tarea social de las mujeres y, al mismo tiempo, contribuir al cambio de su condición y establecimiento de nuevas relaciones entre los sexos."
