Abstract

La perspectiva de que la televisión vía satélite ingrese a las áreas rurales empobrecidas, es buena y mala. Buena, porque ofrece una visión mundial más amplia y la oportunidad de mirar una programación diversa. Y mala, porque fomenta un estilo de vida consumista representado en su mayor parte de la programación televisiva importada del norte.
