Abstract

En España, la actividad en el sector de las comunicaciones vía satélite tuvo en el 2005 un crecimiento exponencial de servicios y aplicaciones, ligado a las nuevas vías de explotación comercial del sistema de satélites. El punto de inflexión o referencia que marcó este despegue fue la puesta en órbita del primer satélite HISPASAT (1992).
