Abstract

Hay desazón entre los cineastas de América Latina. Sin embargo, se sigue creando, y el cine del continente sigue cosechando lauros a nivel internacional. Es el caso de "El lado oscuro del corazón"" del argentino Eliseo Subiela, que obtuvo el Gran Premio de las Américas en el Festival de Montreal, fue conocido internacionalmente con su largometraje, ""Hombre mirando al sudeste"". En esta entrevista habla sobre la libertad de un cine donde la poesía y el sentimiento son los privilegiados. Dice además que sueña con hacer un cine que se parezca cada vez más a la poesía. Siempre pensé que los poetas son los seres más lúcidos del planeta, disparan imágenes todo el tiempo, y eso es un estímulo irresistible para cualquier tipo de filme."
