Abstract

La evolución de los medios aparece lenta en relación a los cambios económicos y sociales desatados por el boom petrolero de los años 70. La timidez empresarial, la inadecuada formación profesional y una excesiva tolerancia de parte del público receptor serían factores que frenan una modernización más dinámica de las comunicaciones. Un defecto crónico de profesionalismo es la falta de continuidad y seguimiento de los acontecimientos y de las noticias transmitidas un día y olvidadas al siguiente. Más que mordazas la prensa sufre de esparadrapos. No puede escribir esto ni decir aquello porque teme los resentimientos y enojos de unos u otros.
