Abstract

En la última década, en Ecuador, la mujer ha alcanzado un mayor espacio en los medios de comunicación. Su presencia como comunicadora es bastante significativa, pero esta ausente de los niveles de poder y decisión de los grandes medios. Hombres y mujeres periodistas deben trabajar codo a codo, en beneficio de un pueblo que plantea mayores retos al comunicador. Aborda la presencia de hombres y mujeres en las Facultades para su formación, estadísticas, fuente laboral, docentes, mercado laboral, discriminación.
