Abstract

La década de los 80, en América Latina se desencadenó la pobreza extrema hasta alcanzar niveles insospechados.Los planificadores no deben olvidarse de la mujer, es una fuerza viva que contribuye sustancialmente al bienestar de la sociedad y a la preservación de la especie. Ellas son agricultoras y pescadoras, artesanas y comerciantes, trabajadoras y empleadoras. A pesar de que trabaja a la par del hombre, solo recibe el 10 por ciento del ingreso mundial y tiene nada más que el 1 por ciento de la propiedad registrada a su nombre.
