Abstract

CHASQUI le solicitó al Profesor Marques de Melo un artículo que analice la situación de las Escuelas y Facultades de Comunicación y Periodismo en la América Latina, "vis a vis"" las nuevas tecnologías. Y como era de esperar, la nota llegó. Y sus conclusiones son desvastadoras: Las carreras forman profesionales para el medioevo. Este es un serio toque de atención para el mundo académico. La situación tiene que ser revertida para que nuestras sociedades se beneficien de la era de los satélites."
