Abstract

Para ayudar a resolver los problemas de la deuda externa, droga y ecología, los medios necesitan cambiar sus funciones y estrategias: Tomar en cuenta los movimientos sociales, que son parte de la sociedad civil ; relatar los procesos, los medios deben dejar de ser meros informadores de eventos, deben contextualizar los hechos y precisar su función crítica social para cumplir su responsabilidad de formar y guiar al público, así como deshacerse de dos viejas doctrinas ideológicas OBJETIVIDAD y NEUTRALIDAD.
