Abstract

Los países desarrollados han establecido un monopolio informativo y sólo desde hace escasamente dos décadas los países en vías de desarrollo han empeado a tomar conciencia de la importancia y el podería de la información sistematizada. El ensayo hace un recuento del proceso de información bibliográfica en América Latina y sus institutos de Comunicación, entre ellos Ciespal.
