Abstract

Las encuestas no son una bola de cristal para hacer predicciones del futuro, son un instrumento para conocer la realidad y poder actuar a futuro. En política se las usa para las campañas. Últimamente en el Ecuador la encuesta se ha convertido en una herramienta para la investigación de la opinión pública, ha sido utilizada en las campañas electorales para tener información sobre las opiniones y percepciones de los ciudadanos sobre la vida cotidiana o la coyuntura política. Las encuestas solo recaban información de la población para conocer sus percepciones y opiniones.
