Abstract

La sociedad española se ha visto abrumada por la cantidad de periódicos, especialmente semanarios, que se publican, lamentablemente de muy baja calidad, semanarios de escándalos que apenas logran sobrevivir utilizan un lenguaje procaz, soez, lleno de calumnias, injurias y ataques monstruosos a la gente, las viejas armas blancas hoy están sustituidas por la letra negra impresa. Esto revela un relajamiento en la conciencia pública española que induce a amargas reflexiones: Un pueblo con alguna sensibilidad moral no permitirá que haya periódicos que escriban semejantes cosas o que haya hombres de los que se pueda escribir tales cosas sin ventilarlas ante los tribunales. Un pueblo donde estos hechos no se excluyan indica que ha caído en la indiferencia.
