Abstract

Pese a que la sociedad peruana en la década de los 90 se convirtió en dura cuestionadora de la violación de los derechos humanos, según estimaciones de organismos de defensa de derechos humanos, la violencia política causada en el Perú cobró más de 28 mil muertes, a pesar de la derrota de Sendero Luminoso. El artículo cuenta el problema, la reactualización de este, la contradicción flagrante, la percepción de los derechos humanos, los avances y retrocesos.
