Abstract

Una de las dificultades que impide el ejercicio del periodismo investigativo es la falta de legislación que facilite el acceso a la documentación oficial. El autor analiza los avances al respecto en las constituciones de varios países latinoamericanos. Otros factores que impiden la investigación en profundidad son el desinterés y las presiones de los propietarios de los medios, la deficiente formación de los periodistas y los riesgos de atentados o agresiones.
