Abstract

"Es imposible llevar a cabo una guerra teniendo una prensa libre"" es la sentencia atribuida al general Sherman en el marco de la guerra de Sucesión. La historia registra corresponsales con perfiles de héroes pero también espías y mercenarios, unos llamándose ""neutrales"" y otros tomando partido, unos haciendo del drama de la guerra fuente inagotable para la espectacularización de la noticia donde el negocio y el rating son determinantes y la ética ausente."
