Abstract

Este artículo aborda un aspecto por el cual Umberto Eco no se hizo mundialmente famoso, pero que sin lugar a dudas habla de su erudición y sin cuyos antecedentes su novelística no tendría determinadas características que la identifican. Este aspecto es el que fundamentalmente dice que Umberto Eco es un semiólogo.
