Abstract

El Instituto de Investigación y Desarrollo en prevención de violencia y promoción de la convivencia social de la Universidad del Valle -Cali -CISALVA- en razón de que "El Caleño"", como muchos diarios de crónica roja es el más vendido por su contenido de muerte, sexo y violencia, y debido al estilo que responde a ciertas matrices culturales, en lugar de denostar y menospreciar este periodismo, negoció con él para insertar semanalmente una historia real de resolución pacífica de conflictos, historias narradas según la lógica del medio, sus maneras de contar y el público al que va dirigido. Este artículo describe la experiencia, que ya lleva dos años y ""contrapuntea "" criterios generalizados que estigmatizan a la crónica roja."
