Abstract

La primera señal radiofónica al aire fue puesta en Cuba el 22 de agosto de 1922. El autor del texto ofrece una apretada síntesis de lo que ha sido su trayectoria, mitad de la cual, transcurrió dentro de una revolución que, no obstante duras pruebas y terribles presiones, se mantiene en el aire. Cuenta sobre los forjadores de la radio (1922-1929); su máximo desarrollo:1930-1958; la mercantilización y la revolución en la radio cubana.
