Abstract

Existe un retraso de divulgación de la ciencia en relación a los avances científicos, a la par que un desfase entre sociedad y comunidad científica. Frente a esta situación es importante llevar la ciencia al público, para atender así el requerimiento social de información científica y que para científicos, docentes, periodistas, escritores, ayuden al hombre común a superar sus temores en relación con la ciencia. Esto en el marco de los objetivos y funciones de la divulgación, respecto a los cuales el autor da una visión actual.
