Gumucio-Dagron: más allá de la euforia tecnológica

Alfonso Gumucio-Dagron se destaca en la comunidad de las ciencias de la comunicación por su fidelidad orgánica al pensamiento latinoamericano, reconocido mundialmente por el compromiso que tiene con el cambio social. Navegando contra viento y marea, este ícono boliviano protagonizó recientemente un hecho que tiene significado histórico: lideró el proceso de difusión del pensamiento crítico en esta coyuntura de euforia tecnológica y de olvido de la memoria popular. Estos y otros aportes al campo de la comunicación han sido importantes para fortalecer la mística latinoamericana en este cruce de signos ultraglobalizantes y de planteos neonacionalistas.
