Abstract

La comunicación municipal es temas emergente. Sin embargo, existen muchos distritos o comunas urbanas donde el tema aún "no prende"", seguramente porque viven una realidad de gobernabilidad y administración local tradicional. Este artículo analiza cómo avanzar hacia una nueva política municipal con miras a democratizar la gestión de los gobiernos locales y así lograr el desarrollo humano e integral en la comuna a través de la comunicación. En un contexto de acendrados cambios tecnológicos y sociales de globalización de las economías, lo local reaparece como un refugio para las personas y como una oportunidad para el desarrollo humano e integral"
