Abstract

El avance y desarrollo científicos de los últimos tiempos han sido vertiginosos. Sin embargo, este desarrollo y el conocimiento que se deriva de él están al alcance de pocos países y pocos individuos, no obstante el valor que éstos tienen para comprender el mundo y mejorar la calidad de vida. En este sentido, el rol de la divulgación científica es fundamental, ahí está el "para que"" de ella y con respeto a lo cual el autor traza algunas líneas."
