Abstract

Los medios de comunicación, particularmente la televisión, pueden ser los autores intelectuales de la violencia que devasta la sociedad contemporánea. De los Estados Unidos, cuyas tasas de criminalidad le ubican en los primeros lugares del ranking mundial, provienen la inmensa mayoría de programas y filmes que difunde la televisión latinoamericana: cátedra de violencia que aún se mantiene impune. El autor de este artículo, se pregunta ¿por qué el cine y la literatura sufren alguna forma de censura, y la televisión no, cuando es el medio que se mete directamente en nuestros hogares?
